The expert jury of the Tyrolean Innovation Award was visibly enthusiastic about the completely new foldable alpine scooter concept of the East Tyrolean project team, consisting of MICADO, ABERJUNG, 3-time mountain bike world champion Alban Lakata and ex-professional cyclist Bernhard Gugganig. The patent-pending rope-folding concept impresses with its low weight (approx. 5 kg), pleasant carrying comfort, tool-free start-up (< 10 sec.) and stylish design.

 

In the category "Best Concept", the Alpine Scooter took 2nd place behind the outstanding project by Parity QC, who have developed an operating system for quantum computers.
