MICADO BRINGS MECHATRONICS AWARD TO EAST TYROL
As in 2011, MICADO also won this year's Cluster Award from the Standortagentur Tirol in the "Mechatronics" category. The jury of high-ranking experts was visibly impressed by the winning project, a packaging and labelling system for 80 different types of fridges, which MICADO developed in very close cooperation with the Liebherr Hausgeräte Lienz project team. As part of this year's cluster partner meeting at the Congresspark Igls, we were able to receive the coveted award together with our project partner.

The company Liebherr in East Tyrol is constantly striving to keep the quality of its workplaces high and to upgrade them in line with the future. Where previously a large number of different cooling devices were prepared for shipping by hand, several robots now take over the packing and labelling. Every day, between 1000-1500 different fridges run through the newly developed high-tech automation system from MICADO.
